Job description
The IT Intern will support digital innovation projects by assisting with website maintenance, routine updates, and foundational development tasks. This role includes technical support for CMS platforms, data handling, and assistance in developing and enhancing economic or data-driven modelling tools.
Interns are expected to demonstrate initiative, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn in a fast-evolving technology environment. Work is research-focused, collaborative, and innovation-driven.
- Assist with website maintenance, CMS management, and routine platform updates.
- Contribute to economic or machine-learning-related development tasks, including data processing and modelling enhancements.
- Support digital product development through troubleshooting, testing, and documentation.
- Provide technical support for integration, APIs, and web technologies.
- Work closely with senior staff to deliver accurate and timely technical outputs.
Experience & Qualifications
- Preferably enrolled in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
- Foundational skills in: Website maintenance (CMS platforms, updates, basic web technologies) and Economic machine-learning development or data-driven modelling
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is an added advantage.
- Understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms, API integration, Git, and data handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently with guidance.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, digital innovation, or applied data science.
