Economist
Zharif is a doctoral candidate in Business Economics from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He holds a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. At EU-ERA, he is a part of the Applied Labour & Development Economics division. He also served as Assistant Managing Editor for Review Labour Market Policy (RLMP) and managing the EU-ERA Discussion Paper.
Currently, he is focused on graduates employment and mobility research. In his research, he investigates the graduate employment behaviour that can influence the job mobility and income-expenditure trends together with the graduates’ transition from education to work and educational experience. He is also interested in doing an assessment on labour market policy as well as evaluating government programmes and initiatives related to the labour market.
